All about Jet Cities Chorus
Jet Cities Chorus members are women from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all over the Greater Seattle / Tacoma, Washington area. Some are semi-professional musicians ... and some last sang in their high school choir ... but we all love to sing and perform! The chorus has sung for conventions and banquets, in malls and retirement centers, and for shows and cabarets throughout the Puget Sound area.
Jet Cities was founded on July 3, 1962, making us 50+ fabulous years old! We are members of Sweet Adelines International and the Federal Way Coalition of the Performing Arts, and are supported in part by the Federal Way Arts Commission.
You can sing with us, too! For more information, visit our Rehearsal Page or send us some e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please say you'll harmonize the world with us!
What kind of music do we sing?
Jet Cities performs four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style. This style of arranging music lends itself to songs from any era – today’s ballads, popular show tunes, even jazz. If you are, or have been (or even never have been!) a member of any sort of choir, Jet Cities will be a lively and energetic experience for you.
We perform our unique style of music on shows, and at festivals, ceremonies and celebrations throughout the Puget Sound area. We perform and compete, which add excitement and challenge to our musical experience. Many members find their own personal development a thrill, and their self-confidence grows as they learn singing and skills they may never have known before.
Support the Arts!
We would be grateful if you would support or patronize these Federal Way arts groups, who generously support us in return.
