fundraisers and special times we shared together.

Eating at The Spaghetti Factory in between two Christmas performances The other end of the table... there were lots of us! Melissa and Lynn await their meals. Vivian and Teresa were smart and had their own table! Part of the chorus sings the National Anthem at the Diabetes Walk, held at Pt. Defiance Park in September. Kelly Hobson signs. Apparently Rhubarb, the Rainiers mascot, didn't want Joy hogging his photo opportunity! Singing the Star Spangled Banner. More Star Spangled Banner singers! The first Jet Cities Management Team poses after being installed in May of 2006. The outgoing Board of Directors is honored by Kay Bruce, one of the Installation Co-Chairs. A "rogues gallery" of past Outstanding Members poses. Chris, Robin and Joanne; three of the four 2006 Outstanding Member Finalists (Alice was home very sick!) Joanne and Alice shared honors for the 2006 Outstanding Member. Here Joanne receives roses and her official Outstanding Member pin from Tensie. Mary Butschky, our emcee for the evening, and the other Installation Co-Chair. Ramona was one of the evening's helpers. Also helping were Cheryl and Jan (the official caterer!) At our 2006 Retreat, we took time out for "pats on the backs" and jotted down good things about our friends in Jet Cities. Heidi--Pepsi eyeballs and all--enjoys some down time at the retreat. Saturday night of Retreat brought out the karaoke machine...and proof of why the front row should stick to dancing! Mary and Libbie have a very serious discussion regarding price tag placement at our giftwrap fundraiser at The Commons in Federal Way. Chris and Robin demonstrate proper paper tearing techniques, also while working at The Commons' giftwrap station. One of our other fundraisers was working concessions at the brand-new Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners. One of the best things about working concessions at the brand-new Safeco Field was...taking breaks!!
After a holiday performance, some of our chorus members got the inexplicable urge to visit Santa!! Teresa talks with Sue Beck, director of the Prospective Voices Northwest Chorus, at a joint rehearsal we had in the summer. House Blend performs at the joint rehearsal. Jet Cities performs for Voices Northwest. Voices Northwest performs for us at our joint rehearsal.
