Jet Cities won our regional chorus competition in May, 2024, which entitles us to compete internationally this upcoming October in Columbus, OH! We're SO excited about the journey we're on towards being an even better chorus!
Of course, this means unexpected financial expenses are now on the chorus' table, so we are busy raising funds to help assure all 40+ members can afford to make the trip to Columbus. We had a successful holiday greenery sale, are currently undertaking a See's Candy fundraiser (just in time for Valentine's Day!), and are saying "yes" to as many paying performances as we can. We'll be quite busy the next ten months.
If you'd like to help us get to Columbus, we would be most appreciative if you participated in a fundraiser; there are links to our active ones below. Also, if you would like to monetarily support our efforts, please visit our Support Us page, where you will find several options to donate.
And whether you send a donation or not, thank you for being supporters of our music and singers.
Jet Cities Chorus is a talented a cappella chorus that sings 4-part harmony, and we are always welcoming new members. Why don't you drop by on a Monday night and see what fun it is to sing with our group! Read more about visiting here, and if you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].

2024 Region 13 Competition: WE WON!
Jet Cities Chorus in a silly pose
In May of 2024, Jet Cities joined 21 choruses and 23 quartets from North by Northwest Region 13 at our regional convention and competition in Spokane, WA. The weekend was full of fun, friendship, and lots of singing!
With just 29 singers on stage, Jet Cities received the Most Improved Award, and took 1st place for Small Choruses (less than 30 singers), AND 1st Place Overall! We were beyond thrilled and are looking forward to competing at the Sweet Adelines' International Contest in 2025! You can see our performance by clicking here or on the photo above. Spreading harmony
How sweet it is to sing together! Jet Cities loves to entertain! The photo on the left shows part of the chorus singing for a Veteran's Day program in Auburn, WA. What a fun--and inspiring--opportunity.
We also spend time in December singing Christmas songs in various locations throughout Federal Way, joined by enthusiastic audience members. And in March we celebrate Pi(e) Day with our family and friends, continuing a tradition we've had for 17 years! Visit our Calendar page to see where else we've been singing, as well as what we have coming up.
If you are interested in attending one of Jet Cities' rehearsals -- either in person or virtually on Zoom -- please visit our Contactpage and drop us a line. We'd love to see you one Monday night!

Sharing the joy of singing
Jet Cities, we love to share music throughout the community. Here is a VLQ (very large quartet!) who spread some harmony one Saturday morning at a senior living facility's memory unit. So much fun! The seven singers shared songs with the residents in attendance, plus got many of them involved in a sing-a-long!
If you think participating in activities like this would be fun, you're right! We invite you to visit a rehearsal and see what Jet Cities is all about. And then maybe one day YOU can do this, too.
OR, if you're looking for entertainment for your group / organization, just drop us a note via our Contact page.
Tomorrow’s a big day for my chorus—our “Once Upon a Tune” show! It’s the culmination of months of preparation, countless rehearsals, and all the work that goes into putting on a performance of this scale. The day will be packed from start to finish: a tech rehearsal in the morning, setting up the stage and equipment, making sure everyone’s fed and ready, then tackling the costumes and makeup before we even get to the show itself. It’s a full-day commitment to make those few precious minutes on stage as memorable as possible.
Igniting Overtones is the official blog of SPARK! Music & Artistry and is dedicated to enhancing your singing experience. It also just happens to be written by our director, Rachel Pack, and we are proud to share her words of wisdom with you.
